Introduction

Hi there, welcome to my blog!

My name is Ellen. I'm a Masters student at University College Cork and I'm part of the Modernities: Literature, Theory & Culture from the Romantics to the Present course.

I've started this blog as part of my course, specifically the module EN6009 - Contemporary Research: Skills, Methods and Strategies. 

Some of my current research focuses include feminist literature & theory, gender & sexuality although I'm open to exploring different subjects within my field of study.

Presently, I am working on my dissertation which is focused on the representation of women in the work of Haruki Murakami.
